Grant had felt terrible the previous night. He'd said he'd meet Anna at her dorm fifteen minutes after they parted from the beach-- but in all his excitement of the night, he'd totally forgotten what dorm she was in! And on top of that, their little escapade in the ocean had gotten his cell soaked-- he couldn't even turn it on, let alone call Anna and ask her which dorm she was in. So, against his will, he'd been forced to stay in last night... in other words, stand Anna up. And how terrible he felt!
Finally, though, his phone had dried out. Biting his lip nervously, Grant sat down on his bed as he dialed Anna's number, hoping she wouldn't ignore his call.
